Human remains found at Steve Fossett crash site

The NTSB confirms reports that some human remains were found in the debris field around the crash site of Steve Fossett. They did not elaborate but there were enough remains to do DNA testing. This should finally put all the wild conspiracy theories we've listened to over the past year. Hopefully this will give his wife Peggy some kind of solace.
For a look around, download this Google Earth bookmark of the crash area.

R.I.P. Steve Fossett, the place you crashed is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

THe icon in the file is very close to where the ID and Money were found 80 feet to the south by south east.

Here are all four of the sites as marked on the sherriff's map.
(Done by overlaying his map and matching up all six of the lakes in the area and marking each of his locations)

Shirt: 37°39'51.22"N, 119° 7'18.54"W
Plastic: 37°40'4.17"N, 119° 7'19.15"W
ID and Money: 37°39'41.36"N, 119° 7'20.99"W
Plane Wreckage: 37°40'1.78"N, 119° 8'1.02"W

I haven't figured out how to store a file on Blogger yet or I'd post a link to the update.

I'll see if I can do it over on my blog.

It seems like I was off of the actual crash site by a fair bit. Thanks for taking the time to overlay the sheriff's map. Great icons.
It looks great.
