I said git!Heavy Metal Hearthrob James Hetfield bought some land north of San Francisco and just put up a huge metal fence to prevent hikers, bikers and horseback riders from getting to a public trail on the other side. The 300 foot long 8 foot corrugated metal fence topped with barbed wire fits in nicely with the oaks and grass around the area. Someone wrote "SHAME DISGRACE" on it though which just ruins the metal and barbed wire aesthetic.
The previous owners of the land let people through for 50 years but apparently the free and easy Marin county way of life hasn't taken with Hetfield.
He did perform a free concert for San Quentin Prison once though.
