She then downloaded the data and using Google Earth, was able to see the path of her ride and then find one near her hometown of Boise Idaho that matched it's elevation profile.
The road bike course in China had much more climbing than a normal course and so Kristin was able to train for that. So really it was training but she wouldn't have know how to train without the technology.
